Jasmin Vergara has been suffering from sexual abuse and physical abuse from her employers. She has been asked to do sexual favors, and when she refused, she would get beaten by them. The husband of her female employer was nice to her at first, and gave her a cellphone. She did not give any other meaning to it, thinking that he was simply being good to her. When her female employer learned about the cellphone, she beat Jasmin.
She had knowledge of another Pinay who reported abuse but she was the one who was incarcerated, making her all the more scared of reporting this to the authorities. All Jasmin is asking for is for her to get some safely. She has not parents in the Philippines, but she was adopted by her uncle and his wife.
